Colwick: St John the Baptist

Rectory Road Colwick Nottingham

Our church is Church of England dedicated to St
John the Baptist and has close links to our village
school of the same name.

The church is situated on teh corner of Rectory Road and Vale Road next to the Community Centre.

The church was built in 1951, although there is a
much earlier church in the grounds of Colwick Hall
which is situated behind the racecourse just down
the road on the way to Nottingham.

On Sunday our service (Parish Eucharist) begins at 9am and lasts
about an hour. Children are very welcome and there
is a Sunday School that takes place during the first
part of the service on 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays.

For the second Sunday of the month, we have an all age service.
